CONGRATULATIONS!  You are the best of the best from your state and soon you will compete at the national level. This is a tremendous achievement and you should take pride in what you have accomplished. Start by utilizing what you know - one way to do this is by attending the Annual Poultry Career Opportunities Workshop. Each year nearly 80 contest participants and 20 group leaders attended this successful event.

Recruiters from several universities (currently includes Auburn University, University of Georgia, University of Arkansas, and Mississippi State University) will be present in the workshop room starting at 8 AM. They will have information booths available and there will be time to interact with the recruiters and ask questions. 

The featured speaker(s) will start at about 9:30 AM and will discuss the benefits of employment and opportunities available in poultry and allied industries. Audience interaction will be anticipated and encouraged. It should be an educational and entertaining session. Please plan on attending.
